About the Course

After the Storm is a live, 4-session Zoom course for women who are rebuilding their lives after toxic or emotionally abusive relationships. This course focuses on helping you understand how abuse impacted you, calm your nervous system, rebuild self-trust, and begin creating a life rooted in stability, clarity, and peace.

This is not therapy. It is a guided, supportive space for reflection, healing, and honest conversation designed to help you move forward with intention.

How It Works

  • You will receive a PDF worksheet with reflection questions

  • The worksheet must be completed before the course begins

  • Each week focuses on one topic

  • During live sessions, participants may share their reflections only if they feel comfortable

  • Listening is always participation

  • You will receive an email 2–3 days before your course date.

  • This email will include:
    • Downloadable PDF Sheets
    • A Zoom link to join the live class session

  • Notebook or Journal and a Pen.

Arrival Time

  • Please join the Zoom session 5–10 minutes early.

  • Once you enter the meeting, please wait patiently for the host to start the class.

  • Late entry may cause you to miss important information.

  • If you miss the scheduled class, you will not receive a refund or credit.

    Everyone’s story is different. We honor each woman’s journey with compassion.

  2. One Person Speaks at a Time
    Please allow each woman to finish her thoughts without interruption.

  3. Respect Privacy
    What is shared in the group stays in the group.

  4. Speak from Your Own Experience
    Use “I” statements and avoid giving unsolicited advice.

  5. Be Kind & Supportive
    We lead with empathy, understanding, and kindness at all times.

  6. Listen to Understand, Not Respond
    Every woman deserves to feel heard and validated.

  7. No Shaming or Blaming
    This space is for healing, not criticism.

  8. Participation Is Optional
    Share only what you’re comfortable with. Silence is also welcome.

  9. Keep It Safe & Comfortable
    Use respectful language and honor the group’s emotional boundaries.

  10. Come as You Are
    This is a soft space — no perfection needed.
